Moldova Innovation Challenge Scheme – collaborative projects for Small and Medium Enterprises

Moldova Innovation Challenge Scheme – general collaborative projects

United Nations Development Programme in Moldova is launching the national competition for innovative collaborative projects from Moldovan small and medium-sized enterprises. Such project shall be initiated and implemented by at least 2 SMEs coming from different fields and joining resources to innovate. Innovative projects shall last for the maximum of 12 months and will be supported through the UNDP Business Innovation Lab. The Lab is an accelerator in itself and the international mentors will support companies to run their projects in a structured and efficient manner. The Lab will be also offering financial support of up to 8,000 USD and not more than 60% of the total budget. Collaborative projects can consist of innovative solution applied to products, services or business processes. An example could be a company from the agricultural sector that joins efforts and resources with an ICT company to pilot an innovative IT-based solution for optimization of the pre-harvesting or harvesting works, which would result in either increased turnover, labor productivity or new jobs. In 2017, up to 3 winning projects will be selected by an international board of experts. The application is done exclusively via the www.inobiz.md platform and takes place in two steps, i.e. application with a detailed concept note and, after pre-selection, with the full application and financial plan. Deadline for the application is 28 April 2017, COB. For clarifications, please contact directly Mr. Dumitru Vasilescu at dumitru.vasilescu@undp.org.
